Social problems. Social reform The research aims to identify the mediating role of Chinese Value on the relationship between antecedents of work life balance and satisfaction of work life balance among Chinese bank employees. The research uses quantitative method to identity the relationship between antecedents of work life balance (work involvement, work overload, work support, family involvement, family overload and family support) and satisfaction of work life balance. Research was conducted at one of the local bank in Kuching Sarawak. There were 52 Chinese bank employees involved in this research. Based on the results of hypotheses testing, it is indicated that Chinese value as the mediator, mediated the relationship between antecedents of work life balance (work involvement, work overload, work support, family involvement, family overload, family support) and satisfaction of work life balance. This result showed that the importance of Chinese value/ cultural aspect must be put into consideration when planning work life balance program.
