The physical appearance like colour, spot and nwnber of dorsal and anal fm rays were observed and counted by using dissecting microscope to identifY species name. The body colour of adults puffer fish is darker compared to juveniles. Two dominant spot patterns types, the circling spotted pattern and fused spotted like pattern were observed and sketched. The nwnber ofdorsal and anal fm rays is in rangel3-16 and 11·12 respectively indicate all of the samples as T. nigroviridis. The toxicity test has been done using mouse bioassay method. The toxin has been extract from gonad, liver and muscle which tested on Gerbil mice. As the result, the toxin is highly concentration in male gonad with 59.50 MU/g, follow by liver and muscle tissue.
