The study will only emphasize the adult population with possible dyslexia in Kuching. The first stage of the study is to identify adults with dyslexia using the Adult Dyslexia Screening Test. Then, the study will continue to be carried out with the Checklist for Dyslexic Adult to observe and understand the characteristics of the dyslexic adults. A hundred of adults had been requested to answer on the screening lest and three participants had been detected as dyslexic. Those detected had been interviewed in-depth. The findings revealed that the dyslexic adults are performing different characteristic in different field. Its severity also differs in multiple fields. There is a wide spectrum of difficulties. The symptoms of dyslexia vary. Dyslexia is a lifelong condition. It can be remedied but some of the residua l difficulties remain. Some severe dyslexics or those can not cope their problem with dyslexia, must be aware by the individual itself and those around them. If the problem persists without any action taken. it can cause low self-esteem, depression and even some eases suicidal tendencies. Thus, early identification of the problem can avoid the further or more severe problem arises. The longer the dyslexic are left struggling to learn. the harder the problem is to overcome.
