existence of gangster movie in Asian region. Film Noir is a genre derived from German
Expressionism and adopted by the American filmmaker during the Depression Era. Film Noir
also emphasizes on lighting, set and acting. The study has eventually prompted the writer to
come out with a short movie entitled 'The Freshblood Brothers' in which the writer adopted
the film Noir characteristics in the movie. |
