Summary: | The study was done to know the characteristics of Cylindrodadium that has been isolated
from guava fruit Fire Cvlindrocladium isolates were used in this study. Two of
Cvlindrocladium isolates were from UNIMAS pathology lab. The rest were the new isolate
from guava fruit The fungi were isolated using potato dextrose agar (PDA) as media
Morphological studies of thefungi were done Growth tests on different media, temperature,
and pll were also done Based on morphological tests, the characteristics of each isolate
showed some differences on colony colour and spores. Based on growth tests on different
media, there was significant difference of growth rate of 967 and 1051 isolates on the
different media (potato dektrose agar, malt extract agar, and guava leaves extract agar).
While, for other isolates, there where no significant difference ººws found Growth tests on
difference temperature showed that the optimum temperature for growth of Cvlindrocladium
was 25-31PC Growths test on difference pH showed that all of the Cvlindrocladium isolates
grew actively at pH 6.0-7 0 accepts 1051 isolate is in pH 5.0. |
