Electrification of a rural area is possible through the installation of stand- alone photovoltaic systems, which transform the energy contained in solar radiation into usable electrical power. The goal of the Accelerated Rural Electricity Masterplan is to completely electrify Sarawak by the year 2025. The Sarawak State Government is providing leadership and support for the plan. Solar or micro-hydro energy is provided to rural homes in Sarawak by the Sarawak Alternative Remote Electrification Scheme (SARES), which operates nonstop around the clock, seven days a week. In order to protect the integrity of the solar power infrastructure, the SARES standalone PV system that has been installed places a 3-kilowatt-hour cap on the amount of energy that can be consumed by a single household causing limitation to the used of energy by the community. As a result, in order to circumvent this limitation, this project will establish an energy trading system that members of the rural community will be able to make use of. Semi-Centralized Energy Trading System in Standalone Solar PV system is the name of the system that we are using. The primary purpose of the system is to facilitate easy operation in rural communities while also maximising the potential for efficient trading. A model consisting of three houses is developed with the intention of simulating the system. The Arduino program was designed from the ground up to function as a trading market and trading agent. The trading agent allows for the trading of autonomous energy by reading the percentage of battery that is located at each house. The trading agent will send a request for energy if the battery is running low, and vice versa. The matching of energy trades will be handled by the trading market, and it will do so in accordance with the request made by the trading agent. The trading market will reward trading strategies that result in minimal energy loss. After that, a relay will perform the function of a switch, which will determine the direction in which the energy will flow. The system trading system determine the houses that will receive and sell. Then the energy market system will match the houses to their requirements.
