This report presents the design and analysis of a Boost Converter that will demonstrate latch up with following specification: Vin=12V, Vout=24V, Pout=60W and peak to peak output voltage ripple is 3%. PSIM software is simulating option for an ideal open loop Boost Converter to study the effect of parasitic loss effect to efficiency.
