Five evaluation indicators are chosen, namely usefulness, accuracy, reliability, satisfaction, and benefits of travel time saving. Using revealed preference study, drivers are asked to evaluate the system’s effectiveness based on these indicators. The level of awareness and utilisation of the system is studied as well. Ordered logit models are developed to analyse the significant contributing factors to the perceived effectiveness. Results indicate that drivers perceived radio as the most effective tool. Although some of them perceived negatively to the accuracy and reliability of the system, about 56% of them commented that the system is useful while most of them anticipated that the current system could be further improved in the future 2013-01-17T08:34:48Z 2013-01-17T08:34:48Z 2012-06 Article The Journal of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia, vol. 73(2), 2012, pages 10-17 0126-513X http://www.myiem.org.my/content/iem_journal_2012-361.aspx http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/23017 en The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM)
