Removal of power line interference is important for analysing ECG. Notch filters can be used to remove the stationary power line interference. However, adaptive cancellers are used to handle non-stationary power line interference. In this paper, an existing adaptive interference canceller is modified by considering the error at the neighbouring samples in estimating the power line interference parameters.
