A lot of points need to be taught alongside car huge glass panel windshield edge which takes days in automotive industries if taught manually. This work will introduce simple and low cost automatic programming approach so that industrial robot will search glass panel edge autonomously. Only one proximity sensor and Simple ON and OFF control scheme is being employed in order to implement this automatic edge detection technique.
