my.unikl.ir-21832013-05-22T08:28:23Z GSM Based On Password Protected Authentication Amirul Addin bin Masri Top 20 This project is to GSM based on password protected authentication using dot matrix display. The message board will display only text message send by handphone by authorised people. The mobile phone takes text entered include the password by the authorised people, convert the text to the proper data format, and load the message onto the board securely. Problem statement: Nowadays LED message scrolling displays are becoming very popular for advertisements. These displays are used in shopping malls, theaters, public transportation, traffic signs, highways signs. The big problem with these displays is to carry a computer or special keyboard for generating and sending messages to LED moving display boards dynamically. Carrying a host computer or special keyboard every time to generate message for LED display boards is big headache and also increase cost if it go for wireless based message sending. For this project it using a GSM. Approach:This project essentially involves state two main circuits, the circuit for PIC circuit which have component of voltage regulator, GSM and dot-matrix circuit. Results: The analysis and experiment are being conduct in order to test the functionality and performance of GSM and message board. The analysis are depend on PIC circuit, GSM, and dot-matrix circuit. Conclusions/Recommendations: The prototype of the GSM Based On Password Protected Authentication was efficiently designed. This prototype has facilities to be integrated with a display board thus making it truly mobile. The toolkit accepts the SMS, stores it, validates it and then displays it in the LCD module. The SMS is deleted from the SIM each time it is read, thus making room for the next SMS. The major constraints incorporated are the use of „*‟ as the termination character of the SMS and the display of one SMS as a time. These limitations can be removed by the use of higher end microcontrollers and extended RAM. The prototype can be implemented using commercial display boards. In this case, it can solve the problem of instant information transfer in the campus. 2013-05-22T04:57:01Z 2013-05-22T04:57:01Z 2013-05-22 http://ir.unikl.edu.my/jspui/handle/123456789/2183 en |
