Summary: | This research study is to design a solution for secure access control
that can replace physical keys for accessing private buildings. The solution is
using digital keys on Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones providing wireless
and automatic unlocking. This was the best solution for fully automatic
discovery and connection establishment using Bluetooth. Moreover the
Bluetooth unlock system is a simple and secure authentication and access
control protocol, allowing each mobile phone to unlock multiple different
locks using a single identity certificate and public unencrypted digital keys.
The process of unlocking the door begin when the user open the application
that was created by the author. The application was called ―Bluetooth Unlock
Door‖ and it was installed in a mobile phone. The author use ―Galaxy Mini‖
mobile phone as a device to connect to the Arduino. When the application
started, Bluetooth from mobile phone will try to connect to the Arduino board
via Bluetooth Module. Bluetooth Module will receive the connection and
activate the system in Arduino. Then, the user need to fill the login to access
the door. If the username/password was incorrect, text result that tell the
password/username is incorrect will appear. The author tries to use the login
form as a secure connection. The door will only open when
username/password was correct. |
