Data were obtained via questionnaire from 300 participants and conducted specific area construction at Kota Kinabalu, which targeting only clerical workers for construction building and roads, focus on administrative clerk. The data collected was analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). Result showed that there are significant relationships between workplace stress and job performance. However, the result shows that only career development as an independent variable supported stress as mediating effect with job performance.
