Jeli in a number of villages that form a district. Pergau River is the main river that is contained in this district, which is one of the economic resources of the local population through activities, mining of sand and fisherman. Geological mapping has been done to view the geological structures and geomorphological features of the area. Overall, the area is covered by rocks of granite that many look at the river Pergau. Sand mining activity in the river Pergau has made this river water contaminated with dissolved substances that can harm the surrounding population if the quantity exceeds the set parameters. If this activity is not control properly, the possibilities for the population to be infected by diseases will be higher.
