The antagonistic activities of the bacteria against R. solanacearum were carried out in-vitro. Bacteria were isolated from rhizosphere soil using serial dilution technique in the infected area. R. solanacearum were collected from infected banana parts. The antagonist bacteria were selected through the quick screening test by using dual culture techniques.
