Summary: | Over the last two decades, there has been a world-wide explosion in interest in ecotourism. Ecotourism can be defined differently, what exactly is ecotourism? Originally ecotourism involves travel to areas of natural or ecological interest, usually under guidance of a naturalist to observe wildlife and ones can learn about the environment. By its nature, ecotourism is also a low impact tourism which is grouped into small and tours advice and guidance on how to avoid damaging the environment. The development approach was linked with the environment to generate economic profitability in term of businesses and employment opportunities. This study, analyses the knowledge, attitude, and future perception of ecotourism among the faculty of entrepreneurship and business students. In particular, the research answers the following questions: first, what is the level of ecotourism knowledge possessed by these students. Second, what is the attitude of students towards ecotourism and the lastly: what is their perception of ecotourism in future. |
