Summary:Entrepreneurship activities were the important sector to develop the nation economic growth. Nowadays, most of the public universities in Malaysia are offering entrepreneurship course as a core subject at the first degree level because people start realize about the important of entrepreneurship activities. This study conducted among students of higher education institution at Kota Bharu. This study aims to identify the relationship between entrepreneurship education and students’ intention towards entrepreneurship, and also aims to identify the relationship between students’ selected backgrounds (parents’ encouragement and parents’ business influence) and student intention towards entrepreneurship. Factors examined include students’ selected background, students’ intention towards entrepreneurship activities and also entrepreneurship education. A total of 150 questionnaires were distributed to 3 selected higher education institution which is Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Kolej Teknologi Darulnaim (KTD). Data collected was analyzed using Predictive Analytics Software (PASW) version 18.0. Finding shows that, there is relationship between entrepreneurship education and students’ intention towards entrepreneurship for first hypothesis and for the second hypothesis, there is no relationship between students’ selected backgrounds and students’ intention towards entrepreneurship. Discussion on findings, conclusion, limitation of study and, suggestion and recommendation are included in the report.
