Hence, this study provides several information and research as the proven about the Leptospirosis. The study was conducted at the recreational area which is Lata Renyok to research about the potential availability of Leptospira species and evaluation of water quality at lata renyok. Furthermore, the waterfall ecosystem was one of the potential areas for the bacteria to breed, due to the surrounding condition of the humidity and runoff from the infected soil, littering activities from the visitors and the excretion of urine from the infected animals that might contain the pathogenic leptospires. The research study was conducted for several months in advance to avoid the raining season that might ruin the research process. There were two method used which are in-situ and ex-situ method. The in-situ method was the test of the water sample at their natural condition or at the point itself using the YSI multiparameter and Turbidimeter. The ex-situ method was by collected the water samples and tested those water samples. The water sample was collected in different six points, three at the upstream area and the remaining three were at the downstream area. The water samples were taken to undergo the testing through the morphological characterization and gram staining technique for bacterial identification method. The rest of Water samples were analysis of chemical and physical parameter. Based on the results obtained, Leptospirosis was absence at the Lata Renyok, Jeli, Kelantan. 2018 Undergraduate Final Project Report NonPeerReviewed Siti Nur Fatimah Musa (2018) Study on Potential Availability of Leptospira species and Evaluation of Water Quality at Lata Renyok, Jeli, Kelantan.
