However, the issue of climate change nowadays causing this sector to become the most affected sector since climate is the primary determinant of agricultural productivity. This study focused on paddy sector and was undertaken to identify the level of knowledge and awareness of the paddy farmers about the climate change and its impact. It also was conducted to determine their level of preparedness and to determine the critical factors that influence the awareness of the paddy farmers about climate change. This study was conducted in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, where questionnaire survey was used as a main research instrument with 119 respondents participate in it. Descriptive and inferential analysis where percentage and chi-square were used to analyse the results obtained. The results from descriptive analysis show almost 80% of the respondents know and aware (94%) about the climate change. Most of them also did some preparation to deal with the climate change. The inferential analysis revealed that the farming experience as the factor that influence the awareness of the paddy farmers about climate change.
