my.umk.eprints.182022-08-04T03:54:41Z http://discol.umk.edu.my/id/eprint/18/ Motivation,reward and employee retention : a case study of Zynee Enterprise, petrol station, Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan Mohd Azali Putera Ismail H Social Sciences (General) Motivation,reward and employee retention are the important issues that need more concern in human resources management in any organizations or companies.The relationship between these three factors will result in job satisfaction to employees within an organization.The existence of a feeling of job satisfaction within a staff member will a cause a person to be more loyal and will retain in the organization.The ability of an organization to retain its employees is a success to the organization as it reduces the cost of recruitment,training costs,management costs and increases productivity as a result of long-standing employee skill upgrades.This case study will evaluate several factors namely motivation and reward in influencing employee retention in Zynee Enterprise.Data and information collection methods are made through interviews and observation.Interviews were made against the company’s owner,Mr Zainal Abidin Bin Yusoff,while observation methods were performed on staff and business operating process as a whole based on each division or department.The purpose of the interview was to find out more about the problems faced by the company in term of motivation and rewards,job satisfaction as well as factors affecting staffs to resign.Each data or information obtained will be collected and evaluated,analysed and concluded to provide solutions to the issues facing by the company.Therefore,this case study has identified a number of factors or elements related to high employee turnover rate in the company and have made some recommendations and solutions that management can take to address the problem.This case study also concludes that there is a clear link between the motivation and reward to the employee retention in an organization or a company. 2018 MBA/DBA Final Project Report NonPeerReviewed Mohd Azali Putera Ismail (2018) Motivation,reward and employee retention : a case study of Zynee Enterprise, petrol station, Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan.
