Summary: | The main aim of this study has been to investigate the intention to use the internet of things (IoT) technology among University Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) students. To achieve this goal, there are few variables and factors that have been looked up. The variables are as follows, social support, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived privacy and security concerns. The main objective of this study is to determine the relationship between social support, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived privacy and security concerns and behavioural intentions in use Internet of things (Iot) Technology among random respondents in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). This study employs the Theory of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as its theoretical framework. Quantitative research was used in this research. Whereby questionnaires through Google Form were distributed to 109 respondents among students in the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). In addition, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26 and Smart Partial Least Square (SMART PLS) 4 were utilised for data analysis. The results showed the consumer behavioural intention of the Internet of things was influenced by social support, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived privacy and security concern. In this study, SMART Partial Least Square (SMART PLS) analysis, SPSS, reliability analysis, preliminary analysis, descriptive statistics, pilot test and hypothesis test was used to analyse the collected data. The results found that social support, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness had a positive significant relationship with intention behavioural. While perceived privacy and security concerns are not significant on intentions behavioural. Finally, the study thoroughly examined its implications, limitations, and recommendations for further research. |
