The company has many successful subsidiaries around the world. Each subsidiary manufactures different products, such as glass, electronics, chemicals, and ceramics. In Malaysia, there are several subsidiaries of AGC Inc. that manufacture different products in different states. This case study focuses on AGC Automotive Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of AGC Inc located in Klang, Selangor, that manufactures glass-based automotive products. This case study focuses on the human resource management issues faced by this company during the COVID-19 pandemic that attacked the world in the years 2020 and 2021, as well as the solutions implemented to deal with this problem. The problems faced in the pandemic made this company gain awareness to prepare to face them in the coming years. Despite the current situation that has hit the world with the COVID-19 virus attack, AGC Inc. ensures that its subsidiaries can maintain their economy and avoid a significant impact on their company. Several actions have been taken in this report to address issues that occur in the organization to maintain employee satisfaction and well-being. Since the COVID-19 epidemic struck, many jobs have been terminated, and many new job opportunities have been created, such as digital-based job opportunities. However, AGC Automotive Malaysia Sdn Bhd still requires a workforce that can work physically. This is because employees in the manufacturing department need employees who are physically present. Despite that, employees in the management department continued to work physically even when the recent outbreak of COVID-19 forced them to work from home. 2022 MBA/DBA Final Project Report NonPeerReviewed text en http://discol.umk.edu.my/id/eprint/13679/1/Nuramira%20Syafiqah%20Binti%20Mazuki.pdf Nuramira Syafiqah Mazuki (2022) The impact of covid-19 pandemic on human resource management: case of AGC Automotive Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
