Summary:The study is regarding the factors that influence the school performance in getting a New Deal at SMK Sadong Hilir.As we know that school performance is very important nowadays in order to grab any award in Education Ministry if the school has fulfilled the criterias.Therefore this study is to examine what are the factors that can influence the school performance such as teachers performance, school management, school academic performance and the principal’s leadership.The school environment factors and peer influences also can influence the school performance.. The problems of this study are time constraint, participants responsed and also the limitation area of study. The methodology that was used in this study is by qualitative method which by interview, observation and collecting data that was provided by the school.Interview was done by random participants of the school. From the interview, observation and data provided this study has found the significant findings which can prove the answers.Due to this data and findings normally school performance can be influence in many factors which I have studied.In this study the research design where school academic performance, school management, teachers’ performance and principal’s leadership constituted the independent variables whereas school New Deal Award was the dependent variable. From this study hopping that it will be useful to teachers, principals and staff as their guidiance and explore their experiences to optimum their work so that school performance can be improve more better.
