The BP tape is cut into a small piece and sandwiched between two standard FC/PC fiber ferrule end surfaces with index matching gel. Q-switching operation of EDFL and YDFL is occurred between pump power range of 35.7 mW to 115.5 mW and 115.2 mW to 188.0 mW respectively.
