Description
Summary:This course follows an intermediate course where complete explanations of all important concepts is given by minimising the amount of mathematical formulation. This course is designed so that every new concept is delivered through completely worked-out example from current medical research problem. In addition, some computational output where appropriate will be introduced to illustrate these concepts. As the increased usage of statistical software, more sophisticated data can be analysed than ever before. Therefore, a second goal of this course is to present new techniques at an introductory level so that the student can become familiar with them without having to wade through specialised statistical formula.
