Throughout the duration of my internship, I was assigned to the Purchasing Department where I was tasked with the responsibility of negotiation should encompass factors such as price, build quality, and delivery terms. During the duration of the internship, my responsibilities encompassed acquiring knowledge about the organization and engaging in analytical thinking to effectively employ theoretical principles acquired in an academic setting to practical scenarios. The report is structured into seven components. The initial portion presents the student's biography, encompassing their CV portfolio. This is followed by the company's profile, which contains details such as the company's goal, mission, background, organizational structure, and the products and services it offers. Subsequently, I clarified on my thoughts pertaining to the training I through, including aspects such as the duration of my work hours, the specific department in which I was placed, the many duties and responsibilities allotted to me, as well as the tasks I was entrusted with. Additionally, I expounded upon the knowledge and skills I acquired during my internship, and the advantages I derived from my association with the organization. The subsequent step involves the identification of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) for the business through the application of a matrix analysis. This will be followed by a comprehensive discussion and recommendations on strategies that the business can employ to enhance its performance, capitalize on available opportunities, address areas of weakness, and mitigate potential threats in order to ensure its survival and competitiveness within the market.
