When macro data is insufficient to provide explicit knowledge of the existence of poverty, micro data can be used to investigate pockets of poverty. This research identifies pockets of poverty throughout the East States in Malaysia. The state of Kelantan was chosen for this investigation. This paper aims to identify the suitable classification techniques for visualizing the accuracy of underprivileged hotspots in Kelantan, develop the suitable classification techniques and visualize the output of visualization of underprivileged hotspots in Kelantan on the Choropleth map. This study's findings will aid public and charitable organizations in locating underprivileged families in Kelantan. The Majlis Agama Islam Kelantan (MAIK) data is used in this study. These findings are critical for generating suitable policy orientation in addressing poverty by focusing on the right group.
