Students identify verb types, relate words, phrases and slots, explore verb and noun phrases, rearrange compound sentences, construct phrases and clauses and add modifiers to sentences in class activities rooted in contextual situations and through tree diagrams so that formal English grammar can be learnt in a more meaningful way.
