Summary:Music education is an integral part of the higher vocational college education system. Many vocational institutions have placed too much emphasis on enhancing students' professional abilities in music education in order to fulfill market demands, while overlooking the need of boosting students' overall quality. There are several disadvantages to music instruction at higher vocational colleges that are faced by the higher education students. Furthermore, the economic level and the constant growth of information technology have increased societal rivalry. More jobs demand a broader range of skills. This research aims to identify the problems faced by students of music education in higher education and to explore the solutions for the students of music education in higher education. This research is based on secondary data by the procedure of gathering, measuring, and evaluating correct insights for study using established approved procedures known as data collection. All the data from several articles were collected and analyzed to provide answers to the three of the research questions for this study. This research is made with the aim to acknowledge the problems and solutions faced by students of music education in higher education and will be beneficial to responsible society.
