Description
Summary:Through entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial programmes and activities have been fostered in Malaysian universities, particularly with the goal of reducing the youth unemployment rate in Malaysia. Efforts of this nature may be limited by the ineffectiveness as demonstrated by past research. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the challenges as a student and business owner. Relevant literature reviews were employed in collecting data for this study. Data gathered from the study literature from numerous sources from the internet, notably journals, thesis collections and also access to UiTM online database information. The outcomes of this study illustrate the issues faced and business models that support entrepreneurial students in higher education in Malaysia. The obstacles encountered were time management, financial resources collected, government backing and help from the respective universities in carrying two main tasks. Despite the challenges presented, student entrepreneurs in Malaysia each year demonstrate a significant positive trend.
