Summary:The aim of this research is to identify and investigate level of usage of OPAC system among UiTM Dungun students. The research attempts to investigate students preferences of using OPAC system, information provided by the OPAC system, graphical user interface (GUI) about OPAC system, student's knowledge about OPAC system, students satisfaction using the OPAC system, problems faced when using the OPAC system and the features that students use when they are using the OPAC system. A questionnaire survey was chosen for this research. 169 written questionnaires were distributed and there are two damaged questionnaires. Majority of the students have come to library indicated that they have used the OPAC system to find the books and also the journal but did not use it often for other reasons. The most popular search types are title search, subject search, and author keyword search and publication year. The results also showed that majority of the respondents found that the OPAC helpful to search books effectively. The study also found that students are not aware of other facilities that are available in OPAC. They often conducted simple searches to find the books and tend to conduct known item searches since they are unaware of other features available.
