However, the parcel delivery process allows parcels to be left in the parcel drop box, which is the temporary place to place our parcel after the delivery be done. The current parcel drop box maybe can handle a simple task, which is being a temporary place for our belongings or parcel but not in a term of security of our parcel. The main objective of this project is to design and fabricate of sliding platform component of smart parcel drop box and to evaluate the performance and function of sliding platform component of smart parcel drop box. The expected result of this project is the sliding platform slide inside and outside from the main body automatically when someone want to put into or take away the parcel from the parcel drop box. This sliding platform also can hold parcel with 280mm x 280mm x 250mm dimension and 15 kg weight.
