Description
Summary:The basic principle of the cooperative movement is to motivate its members in accordance to the government's move. Nevertheless, this principles has been abused by the members whereby most of them seems to be borrowing more than saving. This problem has been a burden to the members and the government. The purpose of saving has not been friutful. And it is more frustrating into realizing that most of this group has been borrowing not for beneficial purpose. In order to overcome this and make them realize several steps and regulations has been enforced. It is by way of educating the members into realizing the real role of a cooperation. Several organizations has been established by the government such as Maktab Kerjasama Koperasi, Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia and Jabatan Pembangunan Koperasi which plays their role into educating the members. Nevertheless till to date, their aim into making the members realize has not been fruitful, although various steps have been taken. Therefore in order to make this group realize, an effective approach must be taken to change their attitude towards being free from the burden of borrowing but on the other hand increase their attitude of saving.
