However, the local authority including Land Office has never stopped in taking such actions to stop this activity. Due to the existence of certain weakness of enforcement of the law, it creates some difficulties for the authority to take further action. The National Land Code 1965 (NLC) is the main canon of land law to administer land in Peninsular Malaysia. The main function of the NLC is to provide a practical way of land administration in the country. According to Article 74 of the Federal Constitution, constitutionally land has always been under the jurisdiction of State Governments and all land situated within the respective state boundaries are vested in the state and they therefore have the power to dispose and deal with it. In response to this problem, we propose to study on the enforcement aspect taken by the respective authorities in Selangor in order to overcome such issue.
