Summary:Preschool is an important stage of education as this is where children start experiencing school life and being away from their parents which will train them with social interaction with other people, being independent, self-confidence and good behaviors. In this range of ages they start to explore and try new things in the world. However, there are lot of cases been reported about children injuries and deaths that occurred when they are outside of their houses nowadays. Parents usually worry of their children's safety as they are not around to protect their children. This thesis presents the development of the multimedia application that will help in teaching the preschool children about outdoor personal safety. A step by step phase of methodology that starts by identifying problem and planning, gather the entire requirement and analyzed it, design and development has been carried out to guide this project development. In order to identify the preschool children requirements, interview with parents at preschool has been conducted and the researcher also observed the existing related multimedia application that suits with the children. This multimedia application is believed to be able to help the preschoolers in learning some of the basic safety guide in order to protect themselves from any injuries when they are outside of their houses.
