Summary: | Zakat on gold and jewelry is one of zakat obligatory upon all Muslims in Malaysia. This obligation is determined based on a fatwa states and it is not uniform from one country to another country. Most of the Malaysia Muslim women have the perception that jewelry is not subject and no need to pay as much as they belonging and worn it. There are many more of the Muslim women really do not understanding with properly about zakat on gold and jewelry and still do not know this charity-related with the obligations in the state. This investigation is aimed to the perception and understanding of the beginning Muslim women in Jabatan Pembangunan Persekutuan Negeri Kelantan on the obligation of zakat on gold and jewelry. The study also aims to determine the awareness level of zakat on gold and jewelry. Besides that, this investigation is getting to identify the dominant factors that contribute in influencing the understanding of zakat gold and jewelry among JPPK Muslim women. The main method that has used by the researcher is questionnaire method. Total forms of 100 questionnaires were distributed to the respondent. The first impression is able to help awareness of Muslim women against the obligation of zakat on gold and jewelry. This study has several approaches and suggestion to ensuring every zakat institutions can be strengthened and zakat funds can be increased. |
