| Summary: | The perception of the society is mixed as it considers that a waqf consists only of property that is both permanent and durable. Cash waqf is a trust fund consists of collections received by society and is one of the instruments alternative in eradicating poverty among Muslims. However, the existence of This cash wakaf is still a question mark by most individuals. Accordingly, this study will be see how far the promotion medium and knowledge give people the awareness to implement the cash wakaf. The study was conducted based on primary data namely questionnaire against officers in Perbadanan Wajaf Selangor (PWS). This study uses qualitative methods. To obtain the findings, the researchers conducted interviews with the relevant officers. The findings show that the interest in Selangor wakaf stocks can help the country's economy. In addition, management in the Selangor Wakaf Corporation should be emulated by other states. |
