The smartphone has a lot of features that help people from capturing memories, utilities, navigation and also keeping in touch with friends and family and staying updated on their lives which no longer too much effort. The function that will be highlighted here is the keeping in touch with family also known as companion application. With advancement of technology such as GPS, users can send and track then coordinate to know about their location so getting lost is no worrisome anymore. This function is suitable to act as a security measure agamst harm or criminal that can happen to beloved family, hi this project, built-in sensor is use to trigger the event either it is normal activities or abnormal activities using the threshold value determined. It is developed using Android Studio by implement accelerometer function to differentiate activities that occurred to child and SMS manager to notify parent’s phone. User need to have an active account and balance in their credit to send the alarm. The message in form of coordinate only which required parents or receiver to decode the coordinate using other third-party application to get the address.
