Summary:Health care expenditure in developing countries has been declined over the years. Thus, many developing countries focused to achieve theirs on the progress towards becoming a high-income status nation by over the years. It is can lead the rise due to the cost of living in the country especially the cost of medical procedures will also rise that can influence economic growth. From the website of the World Bank, health expenditure and economic growth can define as the rate at which medical prices annually based on independent variables. This paper investigates the health expenditure in the developing countries between 2006 and 2015 in this paper. Then, the objective of this study is to investigate the effect of health care expenditure on population categories consists of the total population, population 15-64 years old and population 65 years old above. The data are analyzed by using the panel data technique which is the Pooled Ordinary Least Squares(OLS). The data of the study were analyzed using STATA for windows. The scale of measurement of the study using the scale of descriptive statistics and multiple regressions. The results of the study show that life expectancy, age dependency, gross domestic and population either there are statistically significant in determining health expenditure in developing countries.
