It is important to study the reasons why and how users accept and use digital libraries. The objective of this study is to investigate the roles of aesthetics where it divided into two types which are classical aesthetics and expressive aesthetics; and information quality on users' intentions to continued use of a digital library. The study uses The Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) as a base model, and incorporates variables such as Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, Hedonic Motivation and Habit. The study also investigates the factors that are expected to influence the intention of postgraduate students to continued use of the digital library based on three models: a modified UTAUT2 model, an aesthetics model, and Delone and McLean's Information Success Model. Postgraduate students from University Sains Malaysia were selected as the sample to test the research questions and fulfil the research objectives of the study. The study used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) for the descriptive analysis and SmarfPLS to examine the measurement model and the structural model. Eight out of nine proposed hypotheses were supported and showed a positive, significant relationship to the intention to continued use of a digital library. It is expected that this research will provide new insights into research on intention to continued use of the library in a digital environment. 2016 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en https://ir.uitm.edu.my/id/eprint/37668/1/37668.pdf The roles of aesthetics and information quality on intention to continued use of digital library / Shahruhaida Adayu Mohd Paili.
