Thus, the importance of such a systematic waste management can be highlighted and steps will be taken in accordance to the Environmental Quality Act 1974. The research will also introduce ways and regulations that can be imposed upon associated authorities to prevent or even control any form of pollution. The Environmental Quality Act 1974 itself should include classifications not only on restriction on scheduled waste, but also on all types of solid domestic waste. The existing regulations could be revised in order to find an effective solution to the problem of unhygienic, improper and unsafe way of managing solid domestic waste in Malaysia. Operators of such landfills have to be responsible to treat the matter of overfilling landfills and its affect on the nation at large. The government plays a crucial role in maintaining and restricting the society to ensure a better world to live in.
