This research has been conducted in Sekolah Menengah Sains Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. The rural area is the main focus subject in this research study. This research was used a survey method of distributing questionnaires to 80 respondents. The data collected and then analyzed using Statistical Package or Social Science (SPSS) for Windows Version 20.0. This research founded the major elements that bring impact to the development of new media in education which are students resist to change in new media, students participate in cyber bullying and the outcome of students performance in Sekolah Menengah Sains Rembau. It is proved by data analysis using descriptive analysis and also supported by the previous research in literature review.
