The data has been collected from two different companies which is Eldred Estate, Johor for biological method and Pedas Estate for chemical method. The data that collected are by using secondary data and interview. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis (T-test). From the result, it was shown that the biological method is less effective in term of economic for controlling rat population in oil palm plantation. By this study, all of agencies recommended to use chemical method for controlling rat population in oil palm sector.
