Summary: | According to Mahaliyanaarachchi (2015), a farm stay is a kind of agritourism business in which guests stay on a farm for more than one night and learn about the farming environment and lifestyle. There are several types of farm lodging choices including staying with the host family in their farmhouse, separate cabanas, tree houses, or camping on the farm (Mahaliyanaarachchi. 2015). “Farm bed and breakfast" is a term for a type of hosted lodging on a farm that involves a bed at night and breakfast in the morning (Mahaliyanaarachchi, 2015). Perlis, despite being the smallest state in Malaysia, has a lot to offer to visitors coming to this state including its vegetation and landscapes that are rich, vibrant, and abundant in shades of green. There are many fascinating and unique homestays with picturesque views for visitors in Perlis. The three homestays that the writer has experienced herself are Harum Manis Wan Pa Homestay, Wooden Chalet D'Solo, and Kampung Ujung Bukit Homestay. |
