要約:This study examined the acute effects of heavy resistance bands on shooting speed in futsal players. Thirty-two (N = 32) university futsal players were split into control and experimental groups. Pre- and post-tests were conducted, with the experimental and control groups performing shooting speed measurements both with and without the heavy resistance band. The shooting speed was measured before and after the intervention using a 10-meter shooting test. Results showed that the experimental group demonstrated a significant improvement in shooting speed (2.00 ± 1.065 m/s) compared to the control group (1.75 ± 1.095 m/s). However, the difference between the groups was insignificant, t (30) = 0.665, p = 0.18. Despite this, heavy resistance band training enhanced muscle action and strength, improving shooting performance. In conclusion, while the observed improvement in shooting speed was not statistically significant, incorporating heavy resistance bands into training programs may offer potential benefits for enhancing shooting speed and overall athletic performance in futsal players. Further research with larger sample sizes and varied training protocols is recommended to confirm these findings and provide more definitive training guidance for coaches and players.
