Previously, people would perform tadarus, the act of reciting the Quran together, with other members of the congregation, generally at a masjid or surau. This project is focused on developing a virtual tadarus mobile application called Quran for Us. The mobile application will help Muslims to perform Tadarus anytime and everywhere and make it easier for readers to find their companion for a Tadarus session. It can attract more people to join tadarus and will encourage people to do tadarus as a practice in daily life by developing a virtual tadarus mobile application because that will make them easier to perform tadarus as some interesting features that have been offered in mobile applications compared to other platforms. This project was created for the general user focus for Android-platform users with English as the primary language. The limitations of this project are itt is necessary to have a reliable internet connection in order for the application to function properly and there is no add friend function to allow users to become mutuals. Mobile Application Development Lifecycle (MADLC) methodology is used to develop Quran for Us mobile application, which is only conducted from the identification phase up to the testing phase. The mobile application offers tadarus activity where the users can create tadarus activity by fill up the information such as date, time and total of participants. The users also can join any tadarus session. The significance of this project is it will benefit Muslim people with this mobile application. If they need a companion for tadarus, this application will be able to help them connect with other Muslims in the application. It also will help the Muslim people to learn and understand the Tajweed and Al-Quran. The benefit for mobile designers and developers is it encouraging to perform tadarus when designing the virtual tadarus mobile application, especially for Malaysian Muslims.
