However, parents faced several problems when finding a suitable babysitter for their children. First, it is difficult for parents to find registered babysitter near their home or workplace. Next, it takes a lot of time for the parents to find the right babysitter for their child. Besides, it is also difficult for parents to find a babysitter that matches their requirements and sometimes they find it difficult to trust the available babysitter. Therefore, this project aim is to develop a BabyCare mobile application to help parents fulfil their career aspirations while still prioritizing family and also helps babysitter to promote their services and get jobs. The objectives of this project are to identify the user requirements for BabyCare mobile application, to design, and to develop BabyCare mobile application. The scope of this project is public user which is parents who are looking for a babysitter. Next, a babysitter who wants to promote their services and get jobs. The last one is the administrator who approves the babysitter whether they have the right to be a babysitter or not. The application is operated in English language. The technique that used in this project is geolocation to identify parent’s present location and find the nearest available babysitter and receiving push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to alert the user about their booking’s status with instructions on server code in Firebase. Besides that, the significance of this project is to help parents who have issues on how to find the nearest babysitter services. This application also attempts to help the babysitter who has issues promoting their services and difficulty to find jobs. The methodology that had been used for this project is Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (MADLC) Model. In the future, the project will provide a payment gateway instead of online banking to guarantee the convenience of the users while they pay for the babysitter's services and will provide Global Positioning System (GPS) to alert the users when the babysitter is more than one kilometre away from their current location. In a nutshell, BabyCare mobile application may assist the parents to find the babysitter services based on their requirements without wasting time doing physical searches. 2021-01 Student Project NonPeerReviewed text en https://ir.uitm.edu.my/id/eprint/104026/1/104026.pdf BabyCare: a babysitter finder mobile application / Rabia’tul Adawiyah Khairul Azwan.
