| Summary: | The purpose of this paper to measure the effectiveness of the zakat institutions' efforts in utilizing zakat funds for education purposes and skill development of zakat beneficiaries to achieve social welfare in Malaysia. This study will focus on the overview of how zakat fund has been used in education and skill development for whose are needed and what roles that zakat has been done to utilize it. The finding of this paper will access about the current situation of education that has been funded by zakat institutions, also about the situations of how zakat institutions help the needed with the skill and human development in order for the poor to get a balanced life in social welfare not only for themself but with their contribution can help the improvement for the economy of the society as a whole. |
