It is important for the mothers to have sufficient knowledge to reduce the allergy prevalent among infants via modulation of maternal diet. Objectives: This study aimed to identify knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of breastfeeding, maternal diet and infant allergy prevention among mothers in Pahang. Materials and Methods: This is a cross sectional questionnaire study carried out in Pahang using socio-demographic data. The convenient sampling method was carried out for a period of three months from March to June 2019. The respondents were Malaysian that are pregnant and breastfeeding mothers that live in Pahang. A total of 85 participants with mean age 34.48±6.58 were involved in the study. All the data was analysed using SPSS Version 12.0. Results: The prevalence of exclusively breastfed infants for at least 6 months was 83.6%. Based on the knowledge score, 67 (78.8%) were grouped as having moderate knowledge. Majority of the participants have good attitude and practice 83 (97.6%) and 61 (71.8%) respectively. The knowledge of mothers showed significant positive correlations with attitude score (r=0.215, p=0.048) and attitude of mothers towards practice score (r=0.429, p=0.001). However, no significant correlation was found between knowledge and practice score. Conclusion: In this study, the knowledge of mothers towards breastfeeding, maternal diet and allergy in moderate level.
