Summary: | An experimental set-up for Steam Rankine Cycle (SRC) is designed and fabricated by using affordable materials and components. SRC is a promising system for low temperature power generation application. Experiments are then conducted to analyse the effect of working fluid volume and boiler pressure on system performance. Results indicate agreeable relationship of the variables and system performance but with relatively low overall efficiency due to design and fabrication limitations. |
